Hartford Centers of Geriatric Nursing Excellence

The Building Academic Geriatric Nursing Capacity Program supports nine Hartford Centers of Geriatric Nursing Excellence (HCGNEs). These are schools of nursing that demonstrate the highest level of commitment to the field, have both the experience and potential to build the next generation of gerontological nurses, possess outstanding capacity in research, practice and education, and manifest excellence and leadership that transcends their own institutions.
